The Euro-Mediterranean Impact Makers: Social Enterprise Bootcamp is an immersive workshop aiming to disseminate know-how on social entrepreneurship as a tool for civic participation in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

The project, co-funded by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ programme, aims to bring together citizens interested in the third sector, traditional and social entrepreneurs, new and aspiring entrepreneurs and practitioners from partner countries to strengthen their knowledge in the field of Social Impact and to align on common strategies to generate social innovation in a way that is functional to the individual geographical areas of reference.

Through the implemented activities, the project aims to achieve the following results:

1. The creation of a Social Entrepreneurship Report in partner countries (Greece, Malta, Spain, France and Italy) accessible to anyone wishing to generate social impact for the benefit of local communities;

2. A Bootcamp for social entrepreneurs or citizens with an interest in the Third Sector and Civil Society and, through innovative approaches, participatory methods and digital tools, training in entrepreneurship, i.e. in the use of typical business skills useful to make citizens more active and aware in the social context of reference and to make them an Impact Maker, i.e. a vehicle of social change;

3. The consolidation of a network of social entrepreneurs in the Euro-Mediterranean area open to synergies with actors active in different socio-economic fields or sectors, allowing social entrepreneurs to increase their personal and professional development opportunities in an international learning context such as SEOC 2024 (Social Enterprise Open Camp); 

4. The promotion of the project’s results and impact so that social enterprises acquire greater capacity to operate at EU/international level and promote more active participation in society; 

5. Awareness-raising of beneficiaries towards a more positive attitude towards European Projects and EU values and informing the wider public of different European funding opportunities.
